Rob Whitlock and Vito Rezza Cds!

Does anybody have any comments about these two CDs?
I'm planning to order both of them but I would like to hear some comments before I do it. The line up for the Whitlock CD is very interesting w/ Anthony Jackson and Michael Brecker. Sounds like a fusion CD! And also I heard that Vinnie did some drum duet w/ Vito on his latest CD. Any comments guys???

Y'know, I have them both. To be honest, Rob's wife has a cd with the same lineup. I think her name is, and it's better than Rob's. Rob's has some moments, but Amber's is much cooler. Cliff Almond is on there, as well, and he just cranks!

I got Vito's CD here in Toronto a week ago...

It is very diverse (a good thing!) and unfortunatly Vinnie only plays on the first two tracks WITH Rezza... kinda cool, but the whole double drumming thing might not have been necessary... Rezza's playing is very nice throughout though, with echos of Vinnie in him... there are many really chill and laid back tracks though, including one sans drums with female vocals. Pretty interesting album, I would recommend it for something out of the norm, and as a bonus: Vinnie!

Vito's CD has some video clips on it that you can check on your computer. Vinnie's in one or two of them. Kind of cool. The CD itself is really good. I love the tune with Richard Bona on bass.

For you Canadian drummers out there, go to your local drum shop and get the March issue of Drums Etc. Vito Rezza is the Cover-Story...
